The role emphasizes planning daily schedules, assigning tasks, reviewing work, and delivering timely updates to customers and management. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Automotive repair, service advising, shop foreman, or service management experience.
• Ability to evaluate repair estimates, diagnoses, and completed work.
• Strong organization, communication, and follow-through.
• Comfort using repair-order and basic reporting systems.
• Valid driver’s license and a driving record suitable for operating customer and company vehicles.
• A commitment to honest communication, vehicle safety, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Plan the daily schedule for reconditioning, customer repairs, warranty work, and comebacks.
• Assign work, set completion expectations, and follow up on progress.
• Review inspections, diagnoses, estimates, repair orders, and completed repairs.
• Track vehicle status, costs, parts, and expected completion date.
• Coordinate outside vendors and communicate delays promptly.
• Ensure final quality and safety check before release.
• Keep customers and leadership informed with accurate repair updates.
• Coach employees on productivity, workmanship, safety, and documentation.
