Job summary

VIP, Inc. in Needham Heights, MA is seeking an SMII who will serve in place of an Assistant Manager to develop into a future Service Manager. The role focuses on safe operations, customer service excellence, and adherence to VIP programs and standards.

You will lead a team, schedule staffing, ensure training compliance, manage safety and facility upkeep, and coordinate with management to deliver VIP’s car care promises.

Qualifications

• Two years related experience in automotive service management.
• Completion of a two-year college or technical school program recommended.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain workplace safety as the top priority and train staff accordingly.
• Carry out duties of the Assistant Manager position.
• Learn VIP processes to execute essential duties and responsibilities.
• Schedule the team to meet customers' needs during all hours of operation.
• Control dispatching and assignment of work orders to technicians.
• Ensure compliance with the service Code of Ethics and applicable regulations.
