Job summary

VIP, Inc. in Hanover, MA is seeking a Manager-in-Training to learn the VIP way, lead a team, and ensure safe, compliant operations while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

You will train on processes, schedule staff, coordinate with management, and support the Service Manager to meet VIP programs and standards. Two years of automotive service leadership and ASE credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years related experience in automotive service management.
• Completion of a two-year college or technical school program recommended.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• ASE Certification P2 and G1 recommended.
• State Inspection License required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize workplace safety and enforce safety policies.
• Learn VIP processes and build an extraordinary team.
• Hire and develop the team; ensure LMS and vendor training, ASE certifications.
• Schedule staff to meet customer needs during all hours.
• Communicate daily via huddles and store meetings; monitor emails.
• Train and deliver the 5 for 5 process to educate customers about vehicle conditions.
• Manage dispatching and assignment of work orders to technicians.
• Attend off-site meetings and training as needed.
• Ensure facility and equipment maintenance and cleanliness.
