Personal Touch Automotive is seeking an Automotive General Service Manager to lead daily shop operations, greet customers, write work orders, schedule appointments, delegate to technicians, and manage the sales process from estimate to invoice. You will mentor the team to achieve sales goals while upholding ethical standards.

The role emphasizes leadership, customer relations, and ensuring high performance and satisfaction across the service department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Five years of automotive experience, with at least one year in a management role preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Strong knowledge of the automotive industry and applicable regulations.
• Proficient in basic computer programs; Auto Tracker experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire technicians for a variety of positions.
• Educate technicians on sales techniques, follow-up, and closing deals.
• Oversee day-to-day shop activities and maintain morale.
• Track customers from initial contact to closing and follow-up.
• Foster customer satisfaction and encourage referrals.
• Forecast future sales and monitor performance.
