Job description

Diehl Automotive is growing and looking for a Service Manager at Diehl Kia of Hermitage.

The Service Manager's daily job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing and overseeing the service department and service employees

  • Hiring and training new service personnel

  • Forecasting goals and objectives for the department and striving to meet them

  • Coordinating with other departmental managers within the company

  • Monitoring technicians' daily productivity reports and preparing corresponding payroll records

  • Working with vendors to create service promotions and maintain service programs

  • Meeting with franchise representatives

  • Creating and organizing employee schedules

  • Completing company and franchise training

  • Responding to customer questions or concerns

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • 3 years of experience in the position of service manager or a similar position in the automotive industry

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Current Driver's License with satisfactory DMV driving record
