Job summary

Plaza Tire Service is hiring an Assistant Manager to lead daily operations, greet customers, document needs, and upsell services. You will provide quotes, track service progress, and ensure customer satisfaction in a fast-paced store environment.

The role emphasizes sales, customer service, and automotive knowledge, with opportunities for advancement within Sun Auto Tire & Service's network. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience as a Service Advisor is helpful but not required.
• Experience in sales, customer service or automotive field.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days per week, including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers professionally in person and by phone using standardized techniques.
• Document customer concerns; inspect vehicle and reference service history to identify needs.
• Recommend services and document recommendations in the customer file.
• Promote services, parts and accessories; demonstrate product knowledge to customers.
• Provide accurate quotes including cost and completion time; update customers on status.
• Follow procedures when completing transactions and explain warranties.
• Conduct post-repair follow-up calls to ensure satisfaction; track returns and warranty parts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
