Job summary

A regional automotive service provider in Shoreview seeks an Automobile Service Writer/Manager to oversee daily operations of the service department. The successful candidate will combine customer service expertise with knowledge of automotive repair, managing interactions between customers and technicians to ensure high satisfaction levels. Responsibilities include managing repair orders, training staff, and monitoring service delivery. Candidates should have 3+ years of related experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Service Writer, Advisor, or Automotive Service Manager.
• Strong understanding of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair processes.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and document vehicle issues.
• Manage repair orders and obtain customer approval.
• Schedule work to technicians and monitor repair progress.
• Train and support service staff.
