You will assign vehicles based on skill level, workload, repair type, and shop capacity, working closely with Service Advisors, Technicians, Parts, and Management to keep repairs moving smoothly and customers informed.

Qualifications

• Ability to match repair orders to technicians based on skill and workload.
• Strong communication with advisors, technicians, parts, and management.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch repair orders to technicians based on skill and workload.
• Monitor technician workload and shop capacity during the day.
• Prioritize work to meet customer needs and promised times.
• Route repairs to the appropriate shop or technician.
• Review daily schedule in advance and adjust for efficiency.
• Communicate vehicle status and changes to advisors and customers.
• Coordinate with Parts to ensure needed parts are available.
• Maintain records and update repair orders through completion.
• Promote teamwork and a positive shop environment.
• Resolve scheduling conflicts and operational issues quickly.
