Job summary

Phillipsburg Easton Honda is seeking an experienced Automotive Dispatcher to coordinate repair and maintenance work for technicians, ensuring an efficient, safe workflow in the service department. You will assign jobs based on skill, workload and shop capacity, and keep customers informed.

Collaborate with Service Advisors, Technicians, Parts and Management to prevent delays, prioritize work, and maintain accurate repair orders.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive service operations is preferred.
• Ability to prioritize multiple repair orders in a fast-paced shop.
• Strong communication with technicians, advisors, parts, and management.
• Proficient with dealership/service management software and DMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch repair orders to technicians based on skill and workload.
• Monitor shop capacity and adjust schedules to maximize efficiency.
• Communicate status and changes to service advisors and customers.
• Coordinate with Parts to ensure availability of required parts.
• Maintain accurate repair order records and documentation.
• Identify bottlenecks and reassign work as needed.
• Promote teamwork and adhere to shop processes.
