Job summary

Southern Auto Group in Chesapeake, VA is seeking a Service Department Receptionist to greet customers, manage calls, and provide friendly, efficient front-desk support. You will learn department names, coordinate with staff, and deliver an outstanding first impression as the primary point of contact.

The role is in-person with a Monday–Friday 2PM–6PM shift and Saturday 8AM–5PM; a high school diploma or GED and customer service experience are preferred, with automotive dealership exposure a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Customer service or related experience preferred.
• Automotive dealership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers warmly and provides assistance.
• Directs customers to appropriate departments or contacts.
• Manages incoming calls and routes them appropriately.
• Coordinates questions and issues with department staff.
• Helps with problem resolution as needed.
• Provides administrative support across dealership teams.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
