Qualifications

• AA degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• 2–4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• ASE certifications and valid driver’s license are required or preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret safety rules, procedures and manuals; strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and obtain vehicle information; listen to problems and determine the service needed.
• Prepare repair orders with time, cost and labor estimates; communicate estimates to customers.
• Explain the work performed and the charges; obtain customer authorization for additional repairs.
• Coordinate with dispatcher and service technicians; track progress of repairs and notify customers of changes.
• Maintain professional appearance and keep service area clean; support service marketing efforts.
