Job summary

Crown Automotive in Dublin, OH is seeking an Appointment Setter for its busy service department. This role focuses on accurate posting of service labor time to repair orders and efficient data transfer from paper to the computer system.

Ideal candidates will have solid office skills, basic typing, good math, and customer service abilities. Automotive dealership experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with automotive dealerships preferred.
• Basic typing and calculator skills.
• Strong interpersonal/communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurate and timely posting of service labor time to repair orders.
• Complete and accurate transfer of all written data from repair order to computer.
• Ensure 100% documentation compliance with dealership and manufacturer policies.
• Assist service advisors with incoming phone calls.
• Maintain cross training and coverage of duties in their absence.
• Code and flag warranty repair orders in the system.
• Review repair orders for warranty policy compliance.
• Coordinate paper flow with warranty administrator.
• Communicate vehicle repair status to service advisors.
• Maintain professional appearance and neat work area.
• Create purchase orders for the pre-owned department.
• Follow up on extended warranty claims for the service department.
• Attend department meetings and report safety issues.
