Job summary
Trustlane Automotive is an independent repair shop in Salinas actively seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor. You will explain repairs, build accurate estimates, and coordinate with technicians to keep a busy shop running smoothly.
The ideal candidate has prior experience as a Service Advisor or Service Writer, strong customer service skills, and fluency in English and Spanish. This role offers a competitive salary and a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends.
Qualifications
- Experience as Automotive Service Advisor or Service Writer required.
- Experience in a busy repair shop or dealership.
- Ability to explain repairs and maintenance clearly to customers.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and understand vehicle concerns.
- Build estimates and repair orders accurately.
- Review technician findings and present recommendations clearly.
- Maintain communication with customers through repair process.
- Coordinate with technicians, parts, and management to keep workflow moving.
- Follow up with customers on recommended services and repairs.
- Provide professional, honest customer service.
- Help keep the service department organized and efficient.
