Job summary

Capital Eurocars (Mercedes Benz) in Tallahassee is seeking an experienced Service Advisor. The role requires one to three years of experience, a friendly and outgoing demeanor, and excellent customer service Skills.

You will interact daily with Mercedes Benz customers, service technicians, managers, parts staff, and sales teams. The position offers a range of benefits, opportunities for growth, and a community-focused work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience as an automotive service advisor.
• Basic knowledge of automotive repairs.
• Proficient with computers.
• Ability to explain repairs to customers.
• Hold a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record.
• Pass pre-employment background checks and drug testing.
• May regularly involve weekend days.

Responsibilities

• Meet predetermined service sales objectives.
• Meet predetermined customer satisfaction score objectives (CSI).
• Schedule service appointments—obtain customer and vehicle data prior to arrival.
• Greet customers and obtain vehicle information.
• Write up / enter vehicle problems accurately on the repair order.
• May test drive vehicles.
• Recommend additional necessary service.
• Provide cost estimates for labor/parts.
• Maximize product knowledge.
• Explain completed work to customer.
• Implement and maintain quality control processes.
• Other duties as needed.

The role involves interacting daily with Mercedes Benz customers, service technicians, service managers, parts associates, parts managers, sales associates, and sales managers.

Responsibilities

• Meet predetermined service sales objectives
• Meet predetermined customer satisfaction score objectives (CSI)
• Schedule service appointments—obtain customer and vehicle data prior to arrival

Qualifications

• MINIMUM One Year of Experience as an automotive service advisor
• Basic knowledge of automotive repairs
• Proficient on the computer
• Operate both standard and automatic vehicles
• Provide non-technical explanation of technical repairs to customers
• Identify the PRIM item the customer wants repaired and analyze the customers' problems and needs
• Ability to work outdoors, stand, walk, and climb in and out of vehicles for extended periods of time
• Friendly and outgoing manner
• Demonstrated customer service skills
• Strong work ethic and Ability to work a predictable and consistent work schedule as determined by management and business needs
  • May regularly involve weekend days.
