Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required/preferred.
• Strong customer-service orientation and communication skills.
• Ability to type and use computer systems for service orders.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtains vehicle information.
• Writes up customer's vehicle problems accurately and clearly on repair order.
• Ensures timely processing of used vehicle reconditioning per policy.
• Refers to service history, inspects vehicle, and recommends additional needed service.
• Advises customers on care and value of maintaining their vehicles as per manufacturer/dealer guidelines.
• Checks progress of repair; informs customers of changes and gets authorization for additional work.
• Implements and maintains a service marketing program by collecting emails/cell numbers.
• Reviews repair orders and closes orders when appropriate.
