Job summary

Oscar's Tire Pros is looking for a Service Advisor to advise customers on vehicle service needs and create repair orders for communication with the service department. This role offers strong growth opportunities and a friendly, training-focused environment.

You will greet customers, identify service needs, obtain approvals, and ensure smooth handoffs to technicians while handling payments and maintaining showroom presentation.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or comparable vocational training.
• Knowledge of computerized sales and marketing software.
• Knowledge of auto/truck tire, lubrication and maintenance issues.
• Experience using Mitchell Repair, Activant, All-Data and vehicle service manuals.

Responsibilities

• Promptly meets and greets customers.
• Determines the nature of customer problems; may road test or visually inspect the vehicle.
• Creates Repair Order Request detailing service to be performed or merchandise to be sold.
• Obtains customer approval for service before delivering order to service personnel.
• Reviews completed repairs or services with customers and collects payment; maintains showroom cleanliness.
• Performs daily cash/sales procedures at close of business day.
• Complies with Quality Control, Safety policies, OSHA and EPA regulations.
