Job summary

Plaza Tire Service is seeking a Service Advisor to join our team in a fast-paced automotive service environment. You will greet customers, document concerns, inspect vehicles and recommend services, while promoting parts and services and providing accurate quotes.

You will update customers on progress and ensure satisfaction and proper ticket closure. The role requires prior service advisory experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work five days a week including Saturdays in a

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior experience as a Service Advisor is required.
• Prior experience in sales, customer service or an automotive related field.
• Professional appearance and proven ability to work in a process driven environment.
• Possess valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days per week, including Saturday’s.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a professional and courteous manner in person and on the phone.
• Document customer concerns; inspect vehicle and reference service history.
• Recommend services and communicate additional recommendations from technicians.
• Promote the sale of services, parts, and accessories with product understanding.
• Provide accurate quotes with cost and completion time; update customers throughout service.
• Follow procedures when closing out tickets and explain warranties to customers.
• Conduct post repair and follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Track new returns, core returns and warranty parts for customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
