Job summary

Group 1 South Pointe Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, part of Group 1 Automotive, is expanding and seeking an Automotive Service Advisor to join our new service center. This role focuses on delivering an exceptional customer experience, building rapport, and advising on vehicle care and maintenance.

The ideal candidate has passion for customer service and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Automotive experience is a plus but not required; our service manager can train the right candidate

Qualifications

• Proven customer-facing sales experience is required.
• Ambition to grow into leadership or management within the organization.
• Familiarity with CSI scores and customer surveys.
• Valid driver license in the state where you will work and a good driving record.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and work ethic.
• Must pass background check, MVR, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtain vehicle information.
• Actively promote and build rapport with the customer.
• Advise customers on care and value of maintaining their vehicles per manufacturers’ specifications.
• Generate and provide customer with a complete and accurate repair estimate.
• Establish and communicate repair completion time with customer and technician.
• Answer incoming service calls.
• Maintain and schedule service appointments.
• Follow prescribed post-follow-up procedures resulting in return visits and higher CSI.
• Follow manufacturer warranty guidelines and procedures.
• Comply with all laws and company policy regarding customer, company and manufacturer information and vehicles.
