Key duties include greeting customers, coordinating with dispatch and insurers for approvals, and driving service excellence to maintain high customer satisfaction in a busy GM dealership setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or the equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• General knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations.
• Prior GM experience a plus but not required.
• Professional personal appearance.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to provide a clean DMV report and pass pre-employment drug screening test.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and courteously to ensure satisfaction.
• Provide an estimate for repairs and obtain customer signature prior to repairs.
• Promote sales of labor, parts, and accessories with integrity.
• Coordinate with Insurance Co. or Extended Service providers for approvals.
• Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and reduce comebacks.
• Maintain a neat work area and protect customer privacy.
• Communicate with dispatch to determine job status.
• Follow GM policies and Bureau of Automotive Repair guidelines.
• Aim to fix the vehicle right the first time.
