Job summary

Plaza Tire Service is seeking a Service Advisor in Troy, MO to promote all Plaza Tire products and services and to manage shop workflow. You will be the manager on duty when the store manager is out, ensuring customer care and revenue growth.

Compensation ranges from $50,000 to $80,000 per year, consisting of hourly pay plus commission. Benefits include paid vacation, holidays, medical/dental/vision insurance, a 401(k) with company match, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior experience as a Service Advisor is required.
• Prior experience in sales, customer service or automotive field.
• Professional appearance and ability to work in a process-driven environment.
• Possess valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days per week, including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Promptly greet customers in a professional and courteous manner in person and on the phone.
• Listen to and document customer concerns; inspect vehicle and reference service history.
• Recommend services and communicate additional recommendations from technicians.
• Promote sales of services, parts, and accessories with product knowledge.
• Provide accurate quotes including cost and time for services; update customers throughout the day.
• Cashing out procedures including multi-point inspection review and warranty explanation.
• Conduct follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction for individual customers.
• Track all new returns, core returns and warranty parts for individual customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
