Williams Toyota of Sayre in Sayre, PA is seeking a Service Writer to lead customer-focused service interactions within our Service Department. This role acts as the key link between customers and technicians, ensuring accurate documentation, clear communication, and timely repairs.

The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, is comfortable using dealership software, and is passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service or Automotive experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with Automotive service needs.
• Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues.
• Prepare repair orders, estimates, and service recommendations.
• Communicate with customers throughout the repair process by phone, text, and email.
• Coordinate with technicians and Service Department staff regarding vehicle repairs and timelines.
• Schedule service appointments and maintain customer follow-up.
• Recommend additional maintenance and Automotive services when appropriate.
• Explain completed repairs, charges, and maintenance recommendations to customers.
• Utilize Dealership software and mobile technology for customer communication and repair tracking.
• Maintain accurate records while following federal and state regulations.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the service experience.
• Support dealership operations and complete additional tasks as assigned.
