Apple Ford of Columbia is hiring a Service Advisor to provide friendly, customer-focused guidance through vehicle service visits in Columbia, MD. You will document concerns, coordinate appointments, and explain recommended services and timelines to customers.

Ideal candidates have automotive service experience, strong communication, and familiarity with service management software. The role is full-time with regular weekday hours and occasional weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar automotive service role.
• Solid understanding of automotive systems and repair processes.
• Exceptional communication skills focused on customer satisfaction.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced setting.
• Familiarity with service management software (Tekion, CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds).
• High school diploma or GED; further technical or business education is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Responsabilités

• Welcome customers warmly and assist with vehicle service needs.
• Document concerns and observations for diagnostics.
• Coordinate appointment schedules and maintain communication.
• Prepare repair orders and explain services, pricing, and timelines.
• Work with technicians and parts team to ensure efficient service.
• Keep customers updated on changes to orders, costs, or schedules.
• Stay informed about recalls and promotions to guide customers.
• Follow up post-service to ensure satisfaction.
