Job summary

Auto Plus in San Diego, CA is seeking a customer-focused Service Desk / Sales Associate to welcome customers by phone and in-store, schedule appointments, and upsell parts and service to keep vehicles running at peak efficiency.

You will process work orders and register transactions, maintain knowledge of parts and services, and support management with customer care, warranty, and facility tasks. Prior sales experience and a valid driver's license are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.
• One year of related experience in the automotive service environment.
• One year of sales experience preferred.
• Basic math for commissions and discounts.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for customers on the phone and in the store.
• Engage customers, schedule appointments, and upsell parts and service.
• Process work orders and register transactions with accuracy.
• Maintain organized, safe service area and support management tasks.
• Follow policies on cash, credit, returns and refunds; handle issues collaboratively.
