Job summary

Gills Point S Tire & Auto is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor to serve as the main link between customers and the service team. You will combine automotive knowledge with strong communication to deliver a trusted service experience that builds lasting relationships.

In this role, you will greet customers, assess needs through walk-arounds, provide transparent recommendations, and coordinate appointments while supporting technicians toward efficient, high-quality repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; automotive knowledge preferred.
• Experience with POS and shop management software is a plus.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential.
• Willingness to pursue certification with company support.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and create a welcoming service experience.
• Listen to concerns and perform vehicle walk-arounds to identify needs.
• Provide honest recommendations prioritizing safety and reliability.
• Prepare accurate estimates and explain recommended services.
• Coordinate service appointments and communicate with technicians.
• Process invoices and review final recommendations with customers.
• Maintain accurate customer records and repair documentation.
