Kirby Kia of Ventura is seeking an experienced, customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor. This opportunity is suited to a seasoned advisor who can manage a busy service drive, explain repair recommendations clearly, and build lasting customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact between customers and the service department
• Listen to vehicle concerns and document accurate repair orders
• Explain recommended maintenance, repairs, estimates, and completion timelines
• Obtain customer approval before authorizing additional work
• Coordinate with technicians and parts staff to monitor repair progress
• Verify warranty or service-contract coverage and obtain applicable authorizations
• Keep customers informed about changes in cost, timing, and vehicle status
• Review completed work and final invoices with customers
• Maintain accurate records and follow dealership procedures

Qualifications

• Previous automotive dealership service advisor experience
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple repair orders in a fast-paced environment
• Working knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair terminology
• Experience preparing estimates and explaining repair recommendations
• Familiarity with dealership management systems and warranty processes preferred
• Kia or Hyundai dealership experience is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

• Compensation: Annual earnings range of $50,000-$100,000, depending on experience and dealership approval.
• Benefits: Benefits package and eligibility details will be discussed during the interview
• Schedule: Specific work hours and Saturday requirements will be discussed during the interview
