AAA Club Alliance is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor to be the primary link between customers and in-shop technicians. The role involves greeting customers, reviewing repairs, and coordinating schedules and costs to ensure satisfaction.

A strong customer-service mindset and automotive knowledge are essential, with ASE certification a plus. The position offers base pay of $23.65 per hour, uncapped performance bonuses, and various benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of automotive technology and ability to communicate information to the team and customers.
• ASE Service Advisor Certification is a plus, but not required.

As an Advisor 1, Car Care Customer Service & Sales, we can offer you:The starting base compensation for this position is $23.65 hourly. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law.In addition to your hourly compensation, Service Advisors are also eligible for additional income through our uncapped monthly performance bonus as well as various spiffs and contests that run throughout the year!What our Advisor 1, Car Care Customer Service and Sales associates do:Greet customers, answer telephone calls and schedule appointments in a prompt and courteous manner.Review repairs and services with customers to ensure a complete understanding of the services performed. Contact customer any time there is a deviation from the original estimate of cost or time when the vehicle will be ready for pickup. Note the name and time of approval for all repair/service orders and any additional costs.Distribute work to all shop technicians while monitoring progress and accuracy of each job. Supply information on request to technicians, as needed. Arrange for repairs and payment for vehicles that are covered by extended warranty programs.Arrange towing and/or alternate transportation such as shuttle or rental vehicle when necessary in accordance with Total Repair Care (TRC) standards.Monitor inspection dates of vehicles in system to ensure the inspections are completed before due dates.
