Job summary

Mercedes-Benz of Laguna Niguel, part of the Murgado Automotive Group, is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to guide customers through the dealership service process and provide accurate estimates and updates from check-in to completion.

The role combines automotive knowledge with sales acumen and premium customer care, at a luxury-brand dealership. On-site position with opportunities for growth within the Murgado Automotive Group.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Automotive Service Advisor experience required.
• Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance services.
• Strong customer service, communication, sales, and relationship-building skills.
• Explain technical information and service recommendations clearly.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to follow through in a fast-paced shop.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Luxury dealership experience and familiarity with CDK or Reynolds & Reynolds preferred.

You will listen to customer concerns, prepare accurate service recommendations and estimates, coordinate with technicians, and provide clear updates from vehicle check-in through completion. This opportunity is ideal for a service professional who combines automotive knowledge, sales ability, and premium customer care.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, identify service needs, and document concerns accurately.
• Explain recommended maintenance and repairs in clear, customer-friendly language.
• Prepare accurate estimates and timelines, obtain approvals, and provide timely status updates.
• Coordinate with technicians and the service team to keep repairs progressing efficiently.
• Recommend relevant services that support vehicle performance, reliability, and safety.
• Maintain accurate service records, resolve concerns promptly, and build lasting customer relationships.

Qualifications

$80,000 - $150,000 a year

Compensation is performance-based and includes commissions/bonuses in accordance with our Service Advisor pay plan.
