Job summary

Midas is seeking a Service Writer to create repair orders, prepare estimates from inspections, and sell services and tires to customers. You will order parts and complete transactions, using leadership to drive timely and accurate estimates, higher quality repairs, and increased customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid driver's license required.
Strong customer service skills.
Strong verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Compile accurate estimates and review them with customers.
Greet customers and answer phones in a professional and friendly manner.
Perform all office duties: cash out customers, post vendor invoices, handle paper flow.
Follow up with customers; call upcoming appointments, and follow up for satisfaction.
Maintain shop and office cleanliness and safety standards.
Rent, monitor, and maintain shop vehicles; interact with customers professionally.
Coordinate with management, office staff and customers as needed.
Operate vehicles safely and promote positive customer relations.
Assist with inventory and stock, shuttle customers, and retrieve parts.
