Jay Hatfield Certified Used Cars LLC in Chanute, KS is seeking a Service Advisor to own the customer experience in the service lane. You will greet vehicle owners, explain repair steps, and coordinate scheduling with technicians to ensure smooth, courteous service.

Candidates with customer service or retail backgrounds are encouraged to apply, even if new to automotive. A professional appearance and clear communication are essential to build trust with customers and technicians alike.

Qualifications

• 1 year automotive or motorsport experience preferred
• 2 years of customer service experience
• Organized and friendly personality
• Time management skills
• Fantastic communication skills with customers and technicians
• Professional, well-groomed appearance
• Valid driver's license (DL)
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screen (THC not tested for pre-employment)

Responsibilities

• Answer the phones, schedule customer service appointments
• Oversee flow of Drive Lane. Ensure customers receive prompt, courteous service
• Take ownership of the customer's experience by carrying out those additional assignments to leave a positive impression
• Provide concierge support for owner inquiries, in person or by phone
• Ensures daily inventory of technicians' time is sold to service customers
• Distribute work between technicians efficiently
• Follow all policies and procedures for advisors given during training

As a Service Advisor, you will own our customers’ experience in the service lane. You are the first point of contact with our customers and will be well-versed in product offerings, inventory needs, technician scheduling and customer service. From greeting vehicle owners on the drive line to explaining the repair process, our Service Advisors are true professionals who enjoy helping others. We welcome individuals who are new to the automotive industry but with previous roles in customer service, retail sales, restaurant industry or hospitality.
