Job summary

Baker Auto Group in Big Rapids, MI is seeking a high-energy Service Advisor to join our service team. You will be the primary contact for customers from greeting to delivery, learn products, and present needed services.

The ideal candidate has dealership service experience, understands warranties and documentation, and can organize estimates and manage a busy shop flow. A valid driver’s license is required; CDK experience is a plus; HS diploma or higher encouraged.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Dealership service department or automotive repair shop.
• CDK dealer management system experience is a bonus.
• A valid driver’s license and insurability rating are required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; College experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary customer contact from initial greeting to delivery of the serviced vehicle.
• Learn your product to be a credible resource for customers.
• Assess customer needs and present appropriate services.
• Champion the multi-point inspection process and review results with every customer.
• Organize and present estimates to encourage customers to invest in their vehicles.
• Manage your book of business ensuring vehicles move through the shop on schedule.
• Keep customers informed with up-to-date progress and changes in status.
• Keep paperwork organized and current.
• Understand and stay compliant with manufacturer warranty policies and procedures.
