Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in automotive sales or a similar customer service/sales role is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.
• Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to close sales effectively.
• Knowledge of automotive features, financing options, and industry trends.
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed and achieve sales targets.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple customers simultaneously.
• Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers as they enter the dealership, establishing rapport and determining their vehicle needs and preferences.
• Present and demonstrate vehicles, highlighting features, specifications, and options that meet the customer's requirements.
• Conduct test drives and answer any questions or concerns customers may have about the vehicles.
• Provide detailed information on financing options, warranties, and after-sales services.
• Negotiate pricing, trade-in values, and financing terms to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
• Prepare and process all necessary paperwork, including sales contracts, finance applications, and vehicle registration forms.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current inventory, promotions, and industry trends.
• Follow up with prospective and previous customers to maintain relationships and encourage repeat business.
• Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and contribute to overall dealership goals.
• Collaborate with the Sales Manager and other team members to ensure a smooth sales process and excellent customer service.
• Attend regular sales meetings and training sessions to stay informed about new vehicles, sales techniques, and industry developments.
