Job summary

Pep Boys Inc. is seeking a customer-focused associate to engage customers, schedule appointments, and sell parts and service at the service desk and on the sales floor. You will handle transactions, assist with vehicle services, and ensure smooth store operations.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and at least one year in automotive service with sales experience preferred. Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver's License.
• 1 year of related automotive service experience.
• 1 year of sales experience preferred.
• Basic math skills for commissions and discounts.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work Days, Nights, Weekends, Holidays.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for customers in-store and on the phone, engaging customers, scheduling appointments, and selling parts and service.
• Organize and manage service desk, work orders, and register transactions with knowledge of parts and service.
• Assist management with customer care, work orders, register assistance, and store operations.
• Follow all cash, credit, check, refund, and return policies; address customer service issues and opportunities.
• Conduct routine express automotive services (tires, oil changes, fluids, filters, etc.) and vehicle inspections.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and operations comply with SOPs.
• Maintain organized and clean shop and adhere to policies and environmental rules.
• Other duties as assigned.
