Job summary

Roberthorneford in Arizona is seeking an Automotive Sales Consultant to greet customers, perform needs analyses, and explain vehicle features. You will demonstrate operation in showroom or on the road and help customers select models and options.

You’ll work with Sales and Finance Managers to negotiate terms, arrange financing or leases, and complete paperwork for delivery and registration. Training and development opportunities are provided, along with medical benefits and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• One year of related experience and/or training.
• Strong sales, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to stay organized and follow up with clients.
• Current valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to speak a second language preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers on the sales floor and performs a needs analysis.
• Explain features and demonstrate operation of vehicles.
• Research availability of models and optional equipment using the computer database.
• Work with Sales and Finance Managers to negotiate price, including tax, trade‑in, license fee, and discount, and to arrange financing or lease payment.
• Walks the lot and visually inspects inventory.
• Completes all paperwork and arranges for delivery and registration of the vehicle.
• Delivers the vehicle to the customer and familiarizes them with its features.
• Attends required training and department meetings.
• Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
