Job summary

DARCARS Toyota of Baltimore is seeking an Automotive Sales Manager to lead the New Sales Department, shaping strategies, forecasting targets, and monitoring performance while coaching and mentoring sales staff. This role partners with the Dealer to plan, organize, and optimize sales operations to meet or exceed goals.

You will coordinate cross-department efforts, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Automotive sales experience required.
• Minimum 2 years in sales management.
• Ability to lead and manage teams.
• Strong communication across multiple levels.

Responsibilities

• Forecast goals and objectives for the department and strive to meet them.
• Hire, train, motivate, and evaluate sales staff.
• Direct salespeople to improve image and customer satisfaction.
• Attend managers’ meetings and report performance.
• Ensure compliance with regulations governing vehicle sales.
• Maintain accurate daily and monthly sales records.
• Coordinate with Service, Parts, and Business Office departments.
• Develop promotional programs with the Dealer.
