DARCARS Lanham Ford is seeking an Automotive Sales Manager to lead a busy dealership team in Lanham, Maryland. The role focuses on coaching sales staff, meeting or exceeding goals, and upholding the brand’s customer service standards.

You will forecast department objectives, supervise new and used salespeople, coordinate with Service and Parts, and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations while driving teamwork and profitability.

Qualifications

• Automotive sales experience is required.
• 2 years of experience in sales management.
• Experience managing groups and teams.
• Mentality that no job is too small.
• Ability to communicate effectively to multiple levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Forecast goals and objectives for the department and strive to meet them.
• Attend managers’ meetings and align with company strategy.
• Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor sales staff performance.
• Direct salespeople to enhance the dealership image and customer satisfaction.
• Set and review sales objectives and quarterly performance.
• Maintain accurate sales records and supervise prospecting programs.
