Job summary

Sheehy Auto Stores seeks an experienced Sales Manager at Sheehy Lexus of Richmond to lead the new-vehicle sales team, close deals, and drive profitability. The role focuses on mentorship, high customer service standards, and achieving sales goals through effective leadership.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in automotive sales management, strong leadership, communication, and a proven track record in auto retail. A dynamic, energetic attitude and the ability to train staff are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of automotive sales management experience.
• Proven success in auto retail sales.
• Strong leadership to mentor and train others.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Energetic, enthusiastic personality to boost morale.
• Authorized to work in the USA and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Accurately desks deals, submits deals to lenders for approval, makes credit decisions, and effectively closes deals.
• Work directly with customers to develop relationships that improve client happiness and fuel the sales process.
• Establish trust among customers to build a strong network of clientele and prospects.
• Provide training and support to sales staff and assist in closing deals.
• Facilitate regular sales training for team growth and performance.
• Lead the negotiation process, ensuring customers understand options and pricing.
• Partner with the General Manager to plan and run vehicle inventory.
• Assist in running controllable expense elements for the New Vehicle Departments.
• Analyze business metrics to resolve shortfalls and implement action plans to elevate performance.

The ideal candidate will be honest, self-driven, and results-oriented, with a positive outlook and a clear focus on the highest customer service standards. The New Vehicle Sales Manager will manage new-vehicle sales processes, achieve vehicle sales goals and profit objectives, and lead the sales team to create lifetime customers through each interaction.

Requirements

• A minimum of two years of Automotive Sales Management experience
• Shown success in auto retail sales

• Ability to boost morale during the sales workday and improve profitability

• Authorized to work in the USA
• Ability to pass pre-employment background search, Motor Vehicle Record check, and drug test
• Must have a valid driver's license
