Job summary

Sheehy Ford of Ashland is seeking energetic and motivated Sales Consultants to join our automotive team in Ashland, VA. Whether experienced or new to the industry, you will help customers find the right vehicle and turn buyers into lifetime customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid work authorization to work in the USA.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background checks, MVR, and drug screen.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ambitious, energetic and motivated to succeed.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Determine each customer's vehicle needs by asking questions and listening.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and enthusiasm for the vehicles and accessories.
• Lead customers through proven selling steps that close deals.
• Deliver vehicles to customers, ensuring understanding of product features, warranty, and paperwork for loyalty.
• Maintain customer information and contacts in CRM.
• Follow-up with existing customers to build relationships and referrals.
• Develop new business through personal marketing efforts (direct mail, networking, telemarketing).
• Maintain knowledge of pricing and specifications of competitive vehicles for informative comparisons.

• Outgoing 'people person' passionate about sales and helping clientele.
• Ability to hit sales quotas and closing percentages
