Job summary

Hertz is seeking an experienced Sales Manager in Nashville to lead the retail sales process, oversee finance packages, and drive omni-channel initiatives across locations. You will manage scheduling, training, and performance to maximize customer satisfaction and revenue.

You will work with a team to achieve metrics such as appointment sets, show rates, and close ratios while maintaining store compliance and a high NPS. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in car sales.
• 1 year of management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders across multiple locations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Results-driven with problem-solving ability.
• Ability to lead a diverse, high-performing team.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead the sales team including scheduling, interviewing, hiring, and performance management.
• Conduct daily 1 on 1 Save a Deal Meetings and drive CRM metrics.
• Achieve key sales targets: Appt Set 20%+, Appt Shown 75%+, Close 17%+.
• Support omni-channel and digital retailing initiatives.
• Ensure store operations, inventory and reconditioning align with standards.

Job description

Manage retail business including sales process, finance, and sales team. Assist in the management of all other store processes as needed and support omni-channel sales.

Wage: Base salary plus sales based commissions averaging per year $94,209/yr , specifically $43,888/yr + anticipated average commissions of $50,321/yr

What You’ll Do:

• Manage and lead the sales team
• Including scheduling, interviewing, hiring, and performance management

Finance

• Ensure completion of Finance deal packages
• Work with Sales Consultants on finance processing and metrics
• Support the Finance and Insurance process and performance

Store Management

• Do the right thing always. Achieve high customer service score (NPS) and monitor store compliance
• Train Sales Staff in customer interaction and processes
• Support inventory and reconditioning processes as well as omni-channel sales

What We’re Looking For:

• 3 years’ experience in Car Sales
• 1 year of management experience
• High school diploma or equivalent experience in car sales management
• Must have a valid driver's license
