Job summary

VALLEY NISSAN-MITSUBISHI in Colorado is seeking a results-oriented Sales Manager to lead the Sales team, set clear targets, and drive customer relationships. You will champion a high-energy culture and collaborate with Finance, Service, and Parts to optimize profitability.

This role focuses on ongoing training, deal structuring, and ensuring all transactions comply with lender guidelines, while building a strong, performance-driven team environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Dealership management experience.
• Finance Manager experience preferred.
• Experience with subprime and special finance customers preferred.
• Proven ability to drive gross profit and manage deal structure.
• Passionate about training and developing sales associates.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• High energy and enthusiasm throughout the sales workday.
• Clean driving record.
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Be a leader and provide clear focus, direction, and accountability for the Sales team
• Work directly with our employees and customers to develop relationships and help to enhance the sales process
• Build rapport with customers to establish customer network
• Provide ongoing training and support to the sales staff and assist in structuring and closing deals
• Manage and monitor productivity of the sales department to ensure volume and gross profit objectives are met
• Drive front-end gross profit through disciplined desk management and proper deal structuring
• Work closely with the Finance department to maximize overall deal profitability
• Maintain strong, professional relationships with Sales, Finance, Service, Parts
• Facilitate regular sales meetings and training sessions to promote continuous team growth
• Ensure all deals are structured within lender guidelines and dealership compliance standards
