Job summary

Valley Nissan-Mitsubishi in Longmont is seeking an automotive service technician to perform repairs per repair orders, test components, and communicate with the service advisor to keep customers informed.

You will oversee teammates to ensure repairs are understood and executed correctly, diagnose and repair vehicle systems, and uphold dealership policies while delivering excellent customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• ASE certification is required.
• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver’s license; Nissan experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs per the repair order and dealership policies.
• Test components and systems using diagnostic tools; test drive vehicles.
• Oversee team to ensure repairs are understood and executed correctly.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems.
• Communicate with Service Advisor about additional services and complete online inspection reports.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies
• Test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment; test drive vehicles
• Oversee team to make sure all repairs are understood & executed correctly
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Complete online multi-point inspection report

REQUIREMENTS:

• ASE certification
• Have knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
• Have excellent customer service skills
• Are a team player
• Have a valid driver's license
