Southern Team in Roanoke, VA is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our dealership's sales team toward consistent, profitable performance. You will set strategic direction for vehicle sales, build a high-performing team, and ensure an outstanding customer experience from first contact through closing.

You will align inventory strategy with sales targets and people leadership, holding the team accountable in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required; some college helpful.
• Progressive, relevant experience in a high-volume automotive dealership.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and supervise a sales team.
• Strong business acumen and data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and leadership skills.

• Develop sales forecasts and design strategies to meet monthly and annual goals.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and coach sales team members; monitor performance.
• Set individual/team quotas and manage departmental goals and accountability.
• Assist with closings and resolve escalated customer issues promptly.
• Maintain inventory levels to maximize customer choice and sales opportunity.
• Manage the sales department budget and produce reports on sales activities.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure best-in-class customer experience.
• Perform additional duties to support dealership success.
