Job summary

Ken Garff St George Ford is seeking an entry-level Fleet Assistant to greet customers, assist with vehicle sales, service, and parts, and support the Fleet Department with essential admin tasks.

You will handle phones, walk-ins, and mail, maintain records, and help improve processes while building a foundation for a long-term career in the automotive industry. This is a Monday–Friday role with standard hours.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Proficient with PC usage and software tools

Responsibilities

• Answer phones professionally and transfer to the right destination
• Greet walk-in customers and provide timely service
• Provide admin support to Fleet Department and process mail
• Assist with correspondence, printing, and card/letter printing
• Maintain license plate log and monitor dealer communications
• Support opportunities for process improvements and better operations

Courteous and professional pages. Takes messages from customer when desired person is unable to be reached or at customer request. Greet and accommodate walk-in customers promptly; provides timely, friendly, professional service. Provide excellent customer service by listening to customer inquiries and requests, asking questions to identify needs, and resolving customer concerns. Identify, recommend, and support opportunities for process improvement. Identify ways to improve operations and customer service. Maintain a professional appearance at all times. Disperse and sort mail each day. Call customers when license plates come in and keep a license plate log to ensure accuracy. Make copies when needed. Order business cards. Print Dealer Socket letters each morning. Report Sales to Manufacturer. Input incentives and track payments. Monitor websites for pictures and descriptions. Maintain Dealer Socket. Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
