Job summary

Boucher Chevrolet of Waukesha is hiring Sales Consultants. Whether you are experienced or new to automotive sales, you will greet customers, listen to their needs, and match vehicles from our extensive inventory. You will handle test drives, demonstrate features, and work leads from internet, phone, and in person.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Pass pre-employment testing including MVR and drug screen.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Honesty, integrity, commitment and perseverance.
• Basic computer or smartphone proficiency.
• Love of automobiles.
• Professional appearance.
• Outside sales experience is appreciated.
• Attend product and sales training courses as requested by the Sales Manager.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly manner and listen to their requirements to match vehicles.
• Accompany customers on test drives and demonstrate features and options.
• Build rapport to establish a customer referral network.
• Stay informed about new products, features and accessories.
• Overcome objections and thrive in sales situations.
• Work internet, phone, and personal leads to convert them into sales.
• Report to Sales Manager with objectives and ideas.
• Follow dealership sales process and follow-up system.
• Close deals and complete all paperwork.
• Prepare sold vehicles for delivery and explain operating features and paperwork.
• Introduce customers to service department and highlight service quality.
