Job summary

Roberthorneford is seeking an Automotive Sales Consultant to join our Arizona dealership. You will manage sales activities, generate and manage leads, and help the team continue its success by applying strong product knowledge and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, performing needs analyses, demonstrating vehicles, negotiating pricing and financing, handling paperwork, and ensuring smooth delivery and registration.

Qualifications

• One year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current valid driver’s license is required for all employees.
• Basic math skills for handling figures and payments.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers on the sales floor and perform needs analysis for vehicle selection.
• Explain features and demonstrate vehicle operation in showroom or on road.
• Research model availability and optional equipment using computer database.
• Negotiate sales price including tax, trade-in, license fee, and financing/lease options.
• Complete paperwork and arrange delivery and registration of vehicles.
• Deliver and demonstrate the vehicle to customers and provide follow-up.
• Attend required training and department meetings; maintain regular attendance.
