Job summary

Mangino Chevrolet is seeking an enthusiastic Automotive Sales Consultant to guide clients through the car-buying process, ensuring a positive and seamless experience. You will understand customer needs, present vehicle options, and facilitate sales in a dynamic dealership setting.

You will greet customers, conduct needs assessments, showcase features, and coordinate test drives. The role includes negotiating terms, completing paperwork, and following up to build long-term relationships.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in automotive sales or a related customer service/sales role is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Strong customer service orientation with a passion for helping people.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner, building rapport and trust.
• Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand customer preferences, budget, and driving habits.
• Present new and pre-owned vehicles, highlighting features, benefits, and specifications.
• Arrange and accompany customers on test drives, demonstrating vehicle performance and capabilities.
• Negotiate sales terms, including pricing, trade-in values, and financing options, to close deals.
• Accurately complete all necessary paperwork for vehicle sales, including sales contracts, financing applications, and registration documents.
• Follow up with prospective and existing customers to cultivate long-term relationships and generate repeat business.
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of all vehicle models, features, accessories, and pricing.
• Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the sales team.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
