Job summary

LaFontaine Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Sales Consultant to join a growing family-oriented team in Grand Rapids. You will greet customers, demonstrate vehicle features, qualify buyers, and guide them through the purchase process to close sales.

You will stay informed about product offerings and promotions, attend sales meetings and training, and support a high-energy showroom environment. Join a company committed to community involvement and a strong culture.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
• Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.
• Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers on the showroom floor and determines vehicle make, type, and quality desired.
• Explains features and demonstrates operation of vehicles in showroom or on the road.
• Suggests optional equipment for customers to purchase.
• Researches availability of models and optional equipment.
• Consults with Sales Manager to ensure customers are not left waiting.
