Job summary

Heiser Chevrolet of West Allis is seeking an Automotive Sales Consultant to start a sales career with paid training, hands-on coaching, and opportunities to earn based on performance. You’ll learn Chevrolet vehicles, features, our sales process, CRM, and dealership operations while building relationships with customers.

No prior automotive experience is required. You’ll start at $18.00 per hour for the first 60 days of training, then transition to a commission-based plan with increased earning

Start Your Automotive Sales Career With Paid Training Heiser Chevrolet of West Allis is looking for motivated, outgoing, and competitive individuals to join our team as an Automotive Sales Consultant. Previous automotive sales experience is not required. If you enjoy working with people, are comfortable communicating with customers, and want an opportunity where your income can grow with your performance, we'll provide the training and support to help you succeed.

• $18.00 per hour
• Structured onboarding and sales training
• Learn Chevrolet vehicles, product features, our sales process, CRM, customer follow-up, and dealership operations
• Work alongside experienced managers and sales professionals

After 60 Days - Commission-Based Pay Plan

• Transition to Heiser Chevrolet of West Allis' commission-based sales compensation plan
• Increased earning potential based on individual performance
• Opportunity to earn more as your sales skills, product knowledge, and customer base grow

The first two months are designed to give you the time, training, and support needed to become comfortable and confident before transitioning to the commission pay plan.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Greet customers and help identify their vehicle needs
• Build relationships with customers in person, over the phone, by text, and online
• Learn and demonstrate Chevrolet vehicle features and technology
• Conduct professional vehicle walk-arounds and test drives
• Follow up with internet leads, showroom customers, and previous customers
• Work with sales managers to structure deals and provide an excellent buying experience
• Maintain accurate customer information and follow-up activity in our CRM
• Stay knowledgeable about current inventory, incentives, and manufacturer programs
• Follow up after the sale and work to build repeat and referral business
• Help maintain a professional and welcoming showroom and sales lot

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

You do not need previous automotive sales experience. We are looking for someone who:

• Is friendly, confident, and comfortable talking with people
• Has a strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Is motivated by goals and earning potential
• Is willing to learn, be coached, and improve
• Can communicate professionally by phone, text, email, and in person
• Is dependable and able to work as part of a team
• Is comfortable using computers and learning new technology
• Has a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Is available to work a dealership sales schedule, including some evenings and Saturdays

Experience in retail, restaurants, hospitality, customer service, wireless sales, or other customer-facing positions can be a great fit for this role.
