Job summary

NAPA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead a fast-paced retail team and support the store manager in delivering top customer care and growth across wholesale and retail channels.

You will coach the crew, manage operations to maximize sales and profits, protect inventory, and ensure safety, cleanliness, and readiness of the store, vehicles, and stock areas. Grow relationships and drive programs for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school courses or degree completion.
• Experience in automotive aftermarket service or willingness to learn all things automotive.
• Passion for delivering customer care and building long-term relationships.
• Thrive in fast-paced and complex environment.
• Knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems.
• Ability to lift 60lbs in some situations.
• ASE Certifications (a plus)
• NAPA Know How

Responsibilities

• Lead a successful team, support the store manager, and manage in a fast-paced retail store.
• Manage store operations to maximize sales, profits and customer service.
• Build, coach, train and engage crew to deliver superior customer care and business results.
• Inventory protection, asset management, and safety issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of delivery vehicles, sales floor, stock room and outside areas.
• Drive NAPA programs toward continuous process improvements.
• Grow customer relationships and assist with sales/service questions for in-store and phone customers.
