NAPA Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations, drive sales, and coach a team of associates. The role focuses on counter sales, inventory control, delivery coordination, and maintaining store standards while actively engaging customers across retail and wholesale channels.

The position serves as a development path toward Store Manager, with potential overtime and keyholder responsibilities opening and closing the store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school courses preferred.
• Experience in the automotive aftermarket or willingness to learn all things automotive.
• Leadership experience with the ability to coach and develop staff.
• Customer-centric with a focus on delivering excellent service.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment.
• Knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Background in automotive, heavy equipment, diesel, marine, or dealership.
• Experience in a parts store, retail store, or service-management role.
• ASE Certifications a plus; NAPA Know How.

Responsabilités

• Partner daily with store leadership on operations, sales, inventory health and scheduling.
• Actively sell and build customer relationships across channels.
• Model expected behaviors, processes and customer standards.
• Oversee opening/closing routines, cash reconciliation and end-of-day reporting.
• Handle scheduling, compliance documents and performance tracking.
• Monitor store metrics and drive improvements in sales, inventory accuracy and customer satisfaction.
• Provide coaching and development for team members to ensure continuity and standards.
• Support talent development and succession for store leadership.
