Job summary

Meineke Car Care Centers, Inc. is seeking an experienced Service Manager for our Gilroy location. You will oversee daily shop operations, lead a team of automotive professionals, and drive service sales while delivering exceptional customer service.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in a service-manager role in aftermarket or dealership settings, with knowledge of brakes, electrical, suspension, and routine maintenance. ASE certifications are preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in an aftermarket or dealership service manager role.
• ASE certifications are preferred but not required.
• Strong customer-service orientation and leadership abilities.
• Experience supervising a shop staff and coordinating daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the service department and ensure high-quality repairs and customer satisfaction.
• Coach and motivate technicians and support staff; manage scheduling and workload.
• Drive sales and upsell maintenance services while maintaining cost controls.

We have recently expanded our operations and are in need of an experienced automotive Service Manager. The right candidate will have knowledge of, and sales experience with, modern automotive systems such as brakes, electrical, suspension and maintenance needs, as well as experience supervising a shop staff. A minimum of three years experience in an aftermarket or dealership service manager role is required. ASE certifications are preferred but not required.
